When was the last time you really unplugged and relaxed?
Life is so busy and full on for so many of us. I know in lockdown our lives are in some ways more simple, however in others it is more stressful and demanding. Some of us are having to look after older relatives as they shielding, or working from home with everyone else in the house, or having to home school our children. It can feel as if there is just not enough time in the day to take time out for yourself. However this is counterintuitive, as in the long run not taking time out makes you less efficient and more exhausted. Try taking 10-15 minutes out of your day to read a book you love, meditate, listen to your favourite music or take a walk in nature. You will feel so much better, be more efficient and be able to focus more clearly on what you need to do. How are you going to unplug today?
